The NRA is Killing Liberty

A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government."
  ~~ George Washington

Quote of the Day

"When we get back to Washington after the ... August break, I look forward to working with the United States Congress to do everything we can to effect an organizational change, which would then allow me to say more certainly to the American people, 'We're effective at protecting the homeland.' " -- President BUSH.

Wow. An "organizational change."

I'll have to think about that for a minute.

But only a minute.

Does that phrase need any interpretation? Maybe George needs to change his name from Bush to Orwell. Or maybe he thinks he's "King" George. I've had enough of this, haven't you?

Are there provisions in the Constitution for an "organizational change"? Do you even give a shit? Did you take notice of the "security" measures that have already been instituted since 9-11? You've lost more Liberty in the last ten months than you did during the entire Clinton administration. Your government has siezed this opportunity to clamp down on you.

We feed the terrorists in Israel arms and money. The other wackos in the Middle East bomb our embassies and military posts in retaliation (they've been doing this for forty years, were you paying attention, or did you actually believe GW when he told you they did it because "they hate our freedom"?). So, last September they hit targets on our mainland and suddenly, we're all "patriots", ready to follow George W. headlong in a blind rush to destroy our own freedom.

The Friday after September 11, 2001, as I drove home from work, I passed many intersections where stood crowds of these new "patriots", waving American flags and banners which read "God Bless America" (is it still legal here in America to wave banners in public bearing the word "God"?) They might as well have all been waving banners reading "Destroy the Bill of Rights". I wondered where all of these "patriots" were on September 10th.

Well, all of America supports this War on Terrorism®, or at least that's what the jewish media would have us believe. Problem is, the only "terrorists" we seem to be after in this effort to "seek out and destroy all terrorism, wherever it may be found" are the enemies of Israel. We don't even dare call the Israelis "terrorists", lest we be labelled anti-semitic.

It is also excruciatingly obvious that the American people are the only ones losing anything, namely Rights.

"Oh, I don't mind. After all, it's for our own protection," the sheeple say. Useful Idiots, that's what Stalin called them. The media feeds it and you suck it up, never questioning that some terrorist organization might kill thousands of innocent Americans for no other reason than "they hate our freedom".

Just think about it for a moment, you're not entirely dim.

Where Are We Going And Why Are We In This Handbasket?

Our Founding Fathers were not in the majority. They had "revolutionary" ideas that were unpopular with the masses at the time. But, thanks to their perseverance, commitment and allegiance to an ideal, America was born, independent and free. Once the war was won, and the danger gone, the People were all quite content and happy, even proud to be a part of this new nation.

The Founding Fathers crafted a plan, a document, laying out responsibilities and restrictions for their new government in an attempt to insure that this newly won Freedom survived against the creeping evil of Tyranny. This insurance policy of sorts was called the Constitution. It granted the government certain powers to act in the best interest of the People and enumerated specific rules in the first ten Amendments to our Constitution to keep the government from becoming too powerful and restricting those Rights. These first ten Amendments are known as the Bill of Rights.

Today, many of the People believe that the government, by way of the Bill of Rights, grants us these Rights. On the contrary, our Constitution grants no such Rights. Rather, it forbids the government to infringe on these Rights, as well as others which are not mentioned. Over the last two hundred years the government has become involved in many areas which reside outside of the limited scope of powers granted to it by our Constitution. Public Education, Welfare Programs, Affirmative Action, Foreign Aid, and Military Involvement in countries we are not at war with, to name a few.

This deterioration of our Freedom and Liberty has progressed exponentially over the last forty-some-odd years, nearly to the point that I fear we may not recover from it. The government is no longer populated by the caliber of individual that existed in our Founding Fathers. These days, the politicians dance to the tune of the mass media, secure in the knowledge that the vast majority of the People rely on TV, newspapers and Hollywood for the political scandal du jour, the dog and pony show that will keep them amused while the politicians continue to erode our Rights in order that they may become more powerful and exact more control over the general population.

They tell us that we live in a Democracy, that the majority rules, and that our government must evolve to suit the wishes of the majority. Not so. Democracy is (to use, once again, an over-used cliché) "Two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner". What we have here in America is a Constitutional Republic, the People elect representatives (who take an oath to uphold our Constitution, by the way) to run the government as if it were a business, to keep it running smoothly in the manner prescribed in our Constitution and to guard against the destruction of our Freedom and Liberty, the idea being to protect the Sheep from the Wolves.

We're at the point now where the politicians running our government act at the direction of those who control the media, and the media has convinced the People (now Sheeple), to vote for these traitorous politicians by portraying them as adversarial political parties, each working for the best interest of two opposing groups of People; Liberals and Conservatives. Let me assure you, while the two major parties each have their own agendas, they are not opposites, they are merely two sides of the same coin, both heading in the same direction, albeit at slightly different paces.

The following is a quote, taken from a book written over sixty years ago by a very famous individual. It pertains to another civilization on the other side of the world, but its message holds true here and now.

The greatest danger that can threaten a movement is an abnormal increase in the number of its members, owing to its too rapid success. So long as a movement has to carry on a hard and bitter fight, people of weak and fundamentally egotistic temperament will steer very clear of it; but these will try to be accepted as members the moment the party achieves a manifest success in the course of its development.

It is on these grounds that we are to explain why so many movements which were at first successful slowed down before reaching the fulfillment of their purpose and, from an inner weakness which could not otherwise be explained, gave up the struggle and finally disappeared from the field. As a result of the early successes achieved, so many undesirable, unworthy and especially timid individuals became members of the movement that they finally secured the majority and stifled the fighting spirit of the others. These inferior elements then turned the movement to the service of their personal interests and, debasing it to the level of their own miserable heroism, no longer struggled for the triumph of the original idea. The fire of the first fervor died out, the fighting spirit flagged and, as the bourgeois world is accustomed to say very justly in such cases, the party mixed water with its wine.

Our government, and indeed, our country has been infiltrated by these weak, greedy, and self-serving individuals. They do not hold the best interest of the People in their hearts, only their own immediate personal gains. They care little that they answer to an even more insidious power that intends to corrupt and enslave the People. It is their desire to remain in power for as long as they are able and have absolutely no qualms about selling out to whoever it is (in this case the mass media) that can keep them there.

The power of the media to influence the People is strong. It directs how the People live their everyday lives, from what we eat, drive, wear and buy, the way we perceive abortion, homosexuality, and other morally reprehensible behaviors to who we elect to be our representatives in government. The media portrays abortion as a "choice", not as murder; homosexuality as an "alternate lifestyle", not a biological abomination (or worse, a "choice"). They show us how privately owned firearms kill children, not how they save countless lives every day; how black-on-white crime is caused by poverty, and should be dealt with in an understanding (read: tolerant) manner, but white-on-[insert your favorite minority here] crime is the result of hatred, and demands the harshest penalties available.

The People are being taught that the lowest common denominator in society is the ideal, that to be white or heterosexual is not something that one should be proud to proclaim. This air of "Political Correctness" demands that straight white people not express pride in being so, that to do so is hateful, mean-spirited and intolerant, while at the same time, promoting nearly every other group of minority's or sexual deviants' need to loudly announce their presence. There are even "Hate-Crime" (read: thought crime) laws being written and passed to provide for the prosecution of whites and heterosexuals verbally or textually expressing opinions on such matters.

What it all boils down to is that in order for the government to control the People, it must make them dependent upon the government for nearly every facet of our lives. They are accomplishing this through Welfare, Gun-control, Corporate Subsidies, control and manipulation of the monetary system (our currency is no longer backed by precious metals), Social Security, the list goes on. Such things should be illegal on their own merit (or lack thereof). Once the People are totally dependent on the government, there is no more Freedom or Liberty. People who are totally dependent on their government are totally at the mercy of their government, and have essentially been enslaved.

We're going to hell in a handbasket, as the saying goes, and we'd better start paying attention to what our representative are doing.

      -J

You know, in California, there are sightseeing tours you can take out into the ocean to observe dolphins. They have enacted a law making it illegal for observers to feed the dolphins from the tour vessels. Why? Because the dolphins will become accustomed to being fed without relying on their own ability, thereby becoming dependent on the artificial food supply. Sounds reasonable, no? So, why, you may ask, is it a good idea for our government to make us dependent on them with Welfare and Social security?

Dolphins don't vote.

BTW, the quote was from "Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hitler.

Jimmy's Flag

It was one of the most frustrating challenges that I have faced in years; I just wanted an American flag to fly in front of my home. As so many of you may know, Old Glory is missing from the shelves these days.

I set out two days after the attack; back when there was still hope of finding survivors in the rubble, to the neighborhood store where I had always seen stacks of Stars and Stripes, carefully arranged, on a shelf next to the Automotive Department with a slight measure of dust covering the plastic bag which housed them.

My idea was simple, get a flag, a tall, strong flag pole, and plant my Star-Spangled Banner out front, where everyone could see it, homeowner’s association be damned. This is about our country, and I wasn’t about to take any crap from them, I was ready to fight. To my absolute delight, the very first flag flying in the neighborhood belonged to the Association’s president.

I called my wife from the car, on my way home that day, to let her know that I was stopping to buy our flag, "Get me one of those cute ones that fly from the car window while you are there," she said. I liked the idea, and decided to get two.

The picture of the flag flying proudly from my front yard tapped recollections of better days. Well, I don’t know that they where in fact better days, but I was much younger then, and the world was a simpler place. I thought about Jimmy and Lydia for the first time in quite a long time.

My family had been in the US for less than a month when the loud Cuban woman came to meet the new arrivals staying at my aunt’s house. Lydia was a force of nature, there’s no other way to describe the lively, attention-grabbing tornado that entered the house, and our lives, with a loud "HELLO!!!" She hugged and kissed my parents, my brother, and I as if she had known us for years, settled into my uncle’s favorite television chair, and spent the next several hours filling the house with ruckus laughter, and an unbelievable mixture of Spanish and English that was to become her trademark, in my mind, to this very day.

Dad and Lydia hit it off immediately, they shared a common passion for a good joke, Lydia loved to hear them, and Dad loved to tell them, a natural-born storyteller everyone said. Anytime the two happened to be under the same roof, Lydia’s explosive, no-holds-barred laughter will fill the house; follow the sound, and find Dad, trying out his latest repertoire on her, to her absolute delight.

It took my mother a little longer to warm up to Lydia. In those first days, I can’t really say that Mom "took" to Lydia well, but Mom was a different person then; a country girl in a big city, she was a little quiet and not very assertive, a good Cuban wife. I think Lydia began working on her almost immediately. The woman that my Mother is today "involved, vocal, and passionate about those things and ideals that she holds dear" has a little bit of Lydia in her blood, and like Lydia, a heart as big as the great outdoors.

I saw the Wal-Mart sign ahead, and began to merge to the right to make the turn into the parking lot, I couldn’t help but noticing the increasing number of flags showing up everywhere. Paper ones, printed and taped to the inside of the glass doors of the center’s shops, small ones attached to the car aerials, bigger ones (the cute ones my wife wanted) protruding from car windows, and even full-sized ones, flying on makeshift flag poles from the back of pick-up trucks.

There was an unnatural stillness in the normally bustling store; sounds felt muffled somehow, and distant. The people walking the aisles all had the same look on their face, as if they all wore masks. I was finally able to identify the look; I’ve heard it called the "thousand yard stare", I wondered if that was my mask as well.

I rounded a corner into the Automotive Department, and headed for the shelf with the flags, I ran a mental checklist of the items I needed to purchase; two car window flags, a flag decal for the family van, and a good, full sized Old Glory, complete with a sturdy flagpole, topped by an American eagle. I was looking for Jimmy’s flag.

He was the only son of a family who traced their American roots to the Revolution, and he loved the sea. He always knew that he would join the Navy, made the United States Naval Academy his goal, and his choice, at a time when most young men concerned themselves with more mundane matters, and Annapolis it was for young James. There were clouds of war in the horizon, but they didn’t much concern the newly graduated Midshipman as he received his first orders, Cuba sounded exciting and exotic to a young man from Virginia.

The expansion of the Guantanamo Naval Base was in full gear as he arrived, and the young officer immediately threw himself into his assignment. It was soon after, during a weekend furlough into Santiago de Cuba, that he met a lively young woman, with a hearty laugh. Jimmy and Lydia married soon after.

He took her to his home in Virginia, then left to fight the war. "These bastards don’t know just who they’re messing with" he told her "I’ll be home soon".

She raised a brand new flag on the yard of their Virginia home the morning he left, raised it every day until Jimmy came home from the Pacific.

Nothing - the shelves had nothing on them, bare. No red, no white, no blue anything.

I approached the guy with the blue vest, and the nametag, organizing some oilcans, and made him aware of the need to restock the flags.

"No more flags." he said without looking up from his task.
"No more flags?"
"No more nothing."
"Nothing?"
"Nothing."

I was feeling more creative than desperate, and decided to think out of the box; I would find a way to exhibit my patriotic fervor. I had an idea.

"Where can I find ribbon?"
"Only white."
"Only white?"
"No blue, no red. Only white.

I immediately began to calculate the distance to the nearest Target, or Loew’s. On my way out of the store, I grabbed a flyer listing all the area stores, and their phone numbers. An hour later, my collection of flyers had grown considerably, Wal Mart, Target, Loew’s, Home Depot, K-Mart, Walgreen’s - no more nothing - anywhere. I went home to make some phone calls, maybe I had to rethink my flag idea.

I called every store I could think of; it was the same story everywhere - nothing, no flags or anything resembling one, anywhere. I was determined, and I am a resourceful individual, I have overcome much bigger challenges. I would find my flag, and along with my boys, raise it daily. My brand-new Star-Spangled Banner would fly proud beneath a bronze eagle, on my property.

Lydia and Jimmy never had children of their own, and since his retirement from the Navy, and after their move to Florida, their family became the newly arrived immigrants they would take under their wing. Our first television was a gift from them, our couch, cookware, plates, and bedroom furniture; they never showed up at our door empty-handed. It was always the same story, "I don’t use this anymore, and I thought that maybe you could" Lydia would tell my mother, and smile. Mom never mentioned the tags still dangling from the item, but we all saw them.

The invitation was made in a casual, almost offhanded way, "Why don’t you all come for dinner next Thursday, it’s a Holiday." I had an idea about this Holiday (the school I attended had turkeys and Indians decorating the walls), but no one else did. My aunt and uncle explained the concept, it was a day to give thanks, and we had so much to be thankful for.

We dressed in our very best, what little money we had spent on some new shoes for my brother and I, and left much too early for dinner. As we drove up, I noticed the tall, white flagpole and the American flag flying in the breeze, how odd it was to me to see the tattered edges on it, nothing about that house appeared old, or in bad condition, except the flag. Inside, the house smelled wonderful, strange, and inviting. Jimmy sat in his recliner and invited the men to join him; the ball game was about to start. I sat there, in his den, looking at the collection of military memorabilia hanging from the walls; I couldn’t peel my eyes from the Imperial Japanese flag and the samurai sword occupying the center of the display.

Jimmy caught me looking and smiled, "those bastards didn’t know who they were messing with" he said, I had learned enough English by then to understand that. We watched the incomprehensible sporting spectacle on TV, with Jimmy explaining everything to us in a slow, deliberate English, with some Spanish thrown in for good measure, until Lydia called us all to the most incredible, bountiful table I had ever seen in my young life; we sat and bowed our heads following Jimmy’s lead.

Heavenly Father

It was going to take something just short of a miracle to find my flag; it was nearly two weeks after the attack, and all I could get from anyone were "maybes".

"Maybe we’ll get a shipment tomorrow, or the day after. Maybe next week."

I carried a list with me now, kept it on the passenger side seat; I had a routine established too. I began calling every number at exactly 9:00 AM, systematically, store by store, repeated the process at 2:00 PM. I was on first-name basis with some managers by now.

"Good morning Andrew, it’s Luis."
"Good morning Luis - nothing yet. Maybe tomorrow."
"Talk to you later."
"I’m sure you will."

As the workday wore on, I maintained communications with my little group of flag searchers, seven of us all together by now, wife, sister-in-law, in-laws, parents everyone looking. I was touching base with my Mother when the subject came up. I was frustrated; I had post and eagle, but no flag, and would now take damned near any one I could find.

"I don’t know Mamá, any flag will do right now, even an old, tattered one, like Jimmy’s old flag."
"You remember that flag honey."
"Mamá, how could I forget, I kept wondering how long it would take Jimmy to get around to buying a new one. I guess he never did, I remember the color guard handing it to Lydia, and saluting."
"It was a beautiful funeral."
"It was, it sure was. I miss old Jimmy."
"When was the last time that you called Lydia, or went to visit her?"
"It’s been too long, have you talked to her lately? How does she like the new place?"
"She hates it, but you know Lydia, nothing gets her down. You should stop by and see her someday."
"Si Mamá, you are right, I should."

I went to see her a few days ago, she’s put on weight these last few years, and she needs help getting around, but man! She still loves a good joke. Jimmy took good care of things, and she wants for nothing, she is financially secure and able to afford comfort in her golden years.

We talked about all the same old stuff we always talk about, and then we talked about the attack. For a long time, she reminisced about Pearl Harbor, about Jimmy going to war, and about how it feels the same now as it did then. I told her about my futile flag hunt, and that I had been thinking about Jimmy a lot lately. She said she knew, that Mom had told her all about it on the phone.

She excused herself, and rolled her wheelchair into the bedroom while I checked my voice mails. When she returned a few moments later, she was holding a small bundle, wrapped in plain brown paper and twine.

"You can use this one." she said.

There’s an old, tattered flag waving in the breeze out front; under a clear, true blue dream of an American sky, Jimmy’s flag is waving for the country once again; and though its edges are ragged, the colors are strong, and vibrant, just as they were when it waved, framed by a Virginia sky, and waited for a sailor to come home. Old Jimmy would have wanted it this way, Lydia told me.

I raise the colors every morning; then I do a small salute and speak to ears that I know are listening near by.

"Hey Jimmy! These bastards, they don’t know just who they’re messing with, do they?"

Never Again

December 16, 2001

I've noticed how as of late many newsprint media are screaming because the Pentagon is refusing to give them military information as to what may happen next on "The war on Terror".

Just last week in my local paper, the same ultra-liberal, wannabe an ex-hippie type, town whiner claimed his First Amendment rights were being abused. His right to free speech impeeded?

Gads!! He preached how all would end in doom.

He couldn't type fast enough how awful it was that G.W. had taken away from him his liscense to print what he supposedly "knew" or should alarm the world about from his high liberal post.

If it cost lives overseas, so be it.

( ED: Like this trashy fag knew something intelligent to print!)

So the ultra liberal went on a rant to proclaim to all of America to protect our Bill Of Rights.

Free speech, he claimed; must be protected at all cost- no matter the body count as long as it didn't involve his body.

No military court, because being guilty means you may be found guilty.

Ultra liberal guy went on and on about our civil liberties, save one.

You guessed it, the God given right to defend.

As long as ultra liberal and his ilk have the ability to do a disservice to all, they will continue to do so.

Less than a year ago most of the ultra liberal types were fighting the Bill of Rights, making claims that The Constitution was a living breathing document to be deciphered by the democracy. We don't live in a freaking democracy!

How many high school seniors know that, or even college graduates? Ultra liberals are being pumped out everyday much like roaches in a liberals apartment.

The ultraliberal/socialists cry foul whenever one thing doesn't go the way they planned.

It's past time to make them scream in anger and restore ALL of the Rights we have lost to p.c. and stand tall as True Americans again.

The p.c. left has ruined so many minds and destroyed our social fabric that we should take back our towns, large and small; and declare it America once and for all. And pray diligently.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Simple

December 16, 2001

Let's make this real simple here, folks. The bad guys hijacked planes and flew them into occupied buildings with the intent to kill as many as possible. According to some reports the passengers were told the hijackings would only inconvenience them for a short time, tragedy was the result. The hijackers used boxcutters to keep all at bay as they executed their plan of mass murder.

Our governments response is to ensure that no one with nail clippers can even board a plane.

Please explain to me just how far up one's ass one must be to consider this a solution!

National news is made when a small knife is found on the floor of an airport or if some guy goes the wrong way on an escalator. They shut down the entire airport.

The idiots in government want to insure that you are ever the more helpless sheeple even when you are at your most vulnerable, where you are refused the right to defend self and family.

To those who may not know please allow me to caution you of certian events to which your life may be in jeopardy. If for any reason you are at a federal building, post office, airport, school or other victim location station - if you hear these words, " Don't worry, I'm from the government and I'm here to help" - RUN LIKE HELL!!

The various governments including ours killed more than 56 million people to enforce victim disarmament (re:guntruths.com).

If you still think the government can protect you and yours, then your gene pool needs a dose of chlorine, sheeple aren't known for longetivity anyway.

Help the economy buy purchasing ammo and praticing multi-target scenarios and learning to reload ammo if you don't already. Also pratice tactical reloads as often as possible.

Feel Safe Yet?

November 17, 2001

The quote, "Those who would give up Liberty for security, deserve neither Liberty nor security", penned by Ben Franklin has been used a lot these past couple of months. The question is, do those who read it understand what it means?

Some liberal poll today claimed that 70% of us would encourage the Orwellian pursuit of a national I.D. card. Surely that poll was contained inside the Beltway, or at some indoctrination station as Georgetown or Berkeley.

Considering what Rights we have already allowed to be taken from us in the name of "security" of this or "control" of that, in a republicrat presidency, imagine what else will happen to our Rights.

For more than fifty years we, as a collective haven't done much of anything to stop the tirade against this nightmare we are now faced with.

We as Americans of the truest sense now have a secret court under which we may be tried, with no presumption of innocence or protection of Constitutional Law.

Think about it; the towel-heads have caused us to usurp Constitutional Law, a republicrat president has created a police state at most venues of transportation, everywhere you go you will be asked to present your "papers" , our courts are now more screwed than ever, laws have been passed that won't hold up to normal Supreme Court rulings, there is no redress to the "star chamber" court that can find you guilty without probable cause.

Your fourth amendment is gone thanks to so called sneak and peek provisions which allow the gubmint to secretly steal info from your home and or business without a judges order. This includes paper files as well as computer drives.

Welcome to Police State Amerika.

Everyone from the conspiracy theorists to liberal trash are finding common ground to fight for here. It seems as this may be the Biblical "lion lying with the lamb" scenario. Either way this is some bad mojo being forced upon us.

Historians quibble over what actually was the last straw that started the Fight for Independence from king george. Some claim taxation, others gun control. Either way, what would our Fathers think of us now?

Hell, I'm ashamed enough for all of us.

Tell Me Who To Shoot

November 5, 2001

"Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step over the ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! -- All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a Thousand years. At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
    - Abraham Lincoln, 1838

In due course, with no more than minor brush wars unfelt by any but the poor blokes who get killed in them, the United States will find itself in a situation where the simplest, easiest, and safest thing to do will be to surrender. Maybe it won't be called surrender--maybe it will be called a "realistic accommodation" by the editorial writers that year--or a "treaty of non-aggression with commercial agreements for mutual trade"--or anything. The name doesn't matter; the idea is that the Kremlin will be giving the orders here rather than Washington.
    - Robert A. Heinlein, 1961

Prophetic words.

The revolution is upon us. It has been for quite some time. My compatriots are prepared for the worst. As am I. We are prepared for the day that the UN or even our own government comes for our guns. Or perhaps an invasion from Russia or China.

Lucky day we're not holding our breath.

The invasion has begun. But it's no communist army from halfway around the globe pummeling us with artillery and marching on Washington. It has come in a much more insidious form. A fifth column. The socialization of America is well under way. Our very own democratic system is being used against us and there seems to be no stopping it.

It's been happening for decades. 15,000 come in through JFK alone every day. This influx is not that which made this country what it was in the beginning. These are not the freedom-seeking, hard-working immigrants upon whose backs this great "Melting Pot" of a Nation was built. No longer. The government hand-out programs of today summon the very dregs of the Earth to our shores and the socialists in our government welcome those dependents with open arms. And we foot the bill.

They become citizens and they VOTE for socialists. And these socialists write provisions that side-step our Constitution and allow for even more to come and VOTE. They write provisions for those of us who produce to financially support those who don't. They write provisions for restricting our means of self-defense. They write provisions that force us to become dependent on the government. They write provisions which allow them to be more and more intrusive in every facet of our lives.

And they ignore the Bill of Rights.

I'd love to be able to say that those who are destroying our Constitution have simply never read it, and if we could just point out to them that Firearms Licenses, Carry Permits and "Assault Weapons" Bans are all contrary to the Second Amendment, they'd set things right immediately.

They are not stupid. They are quite intelligent and they know exactly what they are doing.

They make it increasingly more difficult for the average American Citizen to obtain and own firearms. Occasionally they go as far as to arrest one of us for some infraction of a useless law written to "keep guns out of the hands of criminals". There have even been isolated instances of federal agents having armed conflicts with citizens who refused to roll over when BATF came knocking. And not a peep from the 83 some-odd million gun owners. Oh, yes, plenty of outrage. More than enough grumbling amongst ourselves about it.

But no uprising, no show of force.

Let me tell you something. Writing and calling your so-called representatives does absolutely nothing. Supporting the NRA does absolutely nothing. Signing petitions does absolutely nothing. The people who are running this country don't give a fat rat's ass what you want, or what the Constitution says. They are operating outside of the Law of the Land and need to be removed. Republicans are no better than democrats. The democrats may be a little more dangerous, but they are both headed in the same direction. If you think for one minute that a republican is going to repeal any unconstitutional gun laws, you're only kidding yourself.

So how do we fix it? Re-elect no one, for starters. Everybody gets replaced. Every time they're up for re-election. Educate your friends and neighbors. They're the ones voting for the socialists. If it doesn't happen soon, it won't happen. A few more "terrorist" attacks, we'll be under Marshall Law and it will be all over but the shouting.

No one's coming to your door for your guns. No invading army is going to hit our shores one night unexpected. This socialist revolution has been eating us for years and the enemy is among us. He is not a blue-suited soldier from the UN, nor a jack-booted thug from our own federal government (although neither of them are on our side). He is many faceless individuals pulling a lever on the first Tuesday in November. And soon, we will not outnumber him.

If we can't wake up the sheep, we can't win this battle. As we continue supporting the major political parties, the enemy continues to grow. And if we fail to recognize that enemy, we won't keep our freedom.

If you know something I don't, tell me who to shoot.

A new look at the right to bear arms

November 01, 2001

More than 60 years have passed since the Supreme Court last considered the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Now a gun case from Texas is on the ladder to Olympus. Eventually the high court may tell us what the Second Amendment means in the 21st century.

The 18th century amendment was written by a committee, and no one can say with certainty what it meant then or what it means today. The amendment says: "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The pending case involves Dr. Timothy Joe Emerson of San Angelo, Texas. In 1998, he and his wife Sacha had a falling-out. She sued for divorce in the district court of Tom Green County and asked for a restraining order. At a hearing on her motion, she was asked if Emerson had threatened her. She replied, "He hasn't threatened to kill me. He's threatened to kill a friend of mine."

Without further ado, the trial court granted her motion. Subsequently it transpired that Emerson owned a Beretta pistol. Federal prosecutors indicted him for violation of the federal firearms act. An obscure section of the act makes it unlawful for any person who is subject to such a restraining order to possess a firearm.

Before the indictment could go to trial, U.S. District Judge Sam R. Cummings granted a defense motion to dismiss. He concluded that the challenged provision violates the Second Amendment. The right to keep a firearm, in his view, is an individual right. Last week, a panel of the 5th Circuit voted 2-1 to affirm that conclusion, but ordered the case sent back for further proceedings.

If it were not for the floating clause, the amendment would be a model of clarity. Strip away the introductory baggage about a well-regulated militia and we are told, simply and directly, "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

For good or ill, the reference to a well-regulated militia cannot be discarded out of hand. One school of thought holds that the language secures only a collective or governmental right to arm a civilian militia. An opposing school contends that the right to keep arms is rooted in Colonial history, when all able-bodied men between the ages of 16 and 40 were expected to provide their own weapons if they were called into military service.

In its only direct opinion on the Second Amendment (U.S. vs. Miller, 1939), the Supreme Court ruled with unanimous ambiguity. Two men had been indicted for transporting a sawed-off shotgun from Oklahoma into Arkansas. They pleaded a constitutional right to own and carry the weapon. The high court held that because sawed-off shotguns are not customarily used by the militia, the defendants had no right to carry one. By inference, the court seemed to be saying in its Miller opinion that it is OK for a civilian to own the kind of firearms that are used by soldiers, but not the kind of firearms used by gangsters. This was a puzzlement.

In the pending Emerson case, Circuit Judge William L. Garwood reviewed arguments for both the collective view and the individual view, and came down solidly for individual rights. The "rights of the people" phrase must be given consistent meaning. If the people have an individual Fourth Amendment right to be secure in their homes, then surely the identical language secures an individual Second Amendment right to keep and in some fashion to bear arms.

That makes sense to me. No constitutional right is an absolute right. Congress and the states have unquestioned power to enact laws protecting the public safety. All the same, in the Emerson case there was only the most flimsy evidence that the doctor was a serious danger to anyone. In the absence of solid evidence to the contrary, his age-old right simply to possess a handgun ought not to be infringed.

IN SEARCH OF allah:

To the spineless scum who started this war: allah can't help you now. No one can or should.

Your allah doesn't exist, never has or will, you and your kind are dying for a false cause.

Americans have a very special resolve your kind will never understand, especially those of us whom fight oppression on a daily basis. We don't stop when you cry "uncle" or claim to change. Facing the U.S. forces would be better for you than dealing with us. Your cries of mercy will fall upon ears that only hear the cries of the innocents you have already slaughtered. Your pain will be thousandfold of my brethren. allah will not hear you nor answer.

What is left of your body will be buried or burned with pork, the other white meat, that your god will not allow into mecca- meaning YOU won't be allowed.

I got a hambone waiting on your sandblasted ass..

The NRA is killing Liberty

What does the nra do other than ask for money to defeat our own cause? Over the years it has been proven that the beasts we fight are not limited to such nasty creatures as hci or some liberal official whom has declared firearms unconstitutional.

Many times the beast we fight has been the nra, they not only have agreed with the beast but at times has encouraged it. Please do the research and determine if you want to leave your Freedom and Liberty to chance with a group of whore dogs willing to sell you as nothing more than fodder.
