   RIGHTS?
 From: lee19k   Posted: 7/10/00

I'm starting to wonder what right's we as Americans really have. Executive Order # 11000: In the event that Congress declares a national emergency, the (I say "the" because it doesn't seem to be our government anymore) government has the right to seize any and all American people and divide up families in order to create work forces to be transferred to any place the government sees fit...

The president wrote it and all the gov. officials know it. Does this sound like your government? If you still have your guns this will be hard to enforce, if you don't then you better get your baseball bat. What is a national emergency? It's certainly not in the dictionary, I guess that's one more thing we'll have to trust the government with. It may depend on what your definition of is is...

Can't happen in our country?? Look at WWII.

Amen brother,

As far as firearms go, and or in defense of our right; after learning from people far smarter than I am, owning firearms isn't a right at all. Our Saviour told people if need be to sell theIr garment to obtain arms. This was long before 1776. This is not meant as a bible lesson but the reality that being born gives us a right to self-defense no man can rule. Our founders knew this and prepared for it, hence the Second.

That may be off key of your topic, but I've been doing some biblical research on our effort. btw, wonderfull article!!!!!
