In today's America, students are taught to accept that the minority is the proper mindset. To be an individual is a bad thing, to have thoughts of your own is akin to making a threat. You are guessing this is grade school to which I am referring to, yes but it goes beyond that. A huge percentage of higher learning institutions insist on hiring left of center educators, this has been the scenario for years. Consider the text of an American history book published by palladin press stating the Second Amendment, "THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHALL ALLOW THE INDIVIDUAL STATES TO ESTABLISH A MILITIA" (state National Guard). This book and publisher are widely used by many learning institutions.
 
This is the indoctrination our children are facing. And it will continue - consider this: how many adults know the first amendment verbatim?? Compare that to how many know the second amendment verbatim. The numbers will be close - none. Think about this when you send your child to second grade or to the second year of college.
 
Just for my enjoyment, the Second Amendment states clearly: A WELL REGULATED MILITIA, BEING NECESSARY TO THE SECURITY OF A FREE STATE, THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.
