It gets much worse than that, but you get the idea. Those quotes are old news, but worth repeating for they show the path the liberals want to take us.
 
Just as albore wants to send our economy to hell with a proposed over-budget of at least a trillion dollars, they still know what is best for us. More big government will solve all of our ills. The American people MUST be told what to think, so as not to offend, told what to say, so as not to offend, told how to live, as in share the wealth. God forbid the left trust the Americans to regain liberty, or self thought.
 
So strange that those whom claim to have higher learning refuse to see this.
 
As for victim disarmament I wonder which leftist/socialist will volunteer to disarm 83 million Americans, that would be quite amusing. I can see it now, some Rosie O'lesbo type with a voice about two octaves above Flipper screaming throughout the country, " OWN A GUN, DO PRISON TIME --- GIMME A TWINKIE BE A FRIEND OF MINE".
 
Of course the real Rosie O'lesbo would never show up, she/it is safe at home with her/it's armed guards. For "it" is a known "Limousine Liberal".
 
Just as Ted Kennedy, Dianne Feinstein and many others including the Clintons declare, they are above us. They are better than us, they have reasons to have armed guards. Us simple mortals have no need to defend against the rapist, killers or those who would do us harm. We have 911, our security blanket. We know that if we have a bad guy only inches from us, he will cease and desist because we can call and report him or them to police. If the big government would only pass full blown victim disarmament, AKA, gun control, us lawful people could rest easy knowing all criminals would give up their guns. Criminals wouldn't break the law, the Supreme Court said they didn't have to . . . it would violate their Fifth Amendment against self- prosecution to register their weapons.
 
O.K. So the bad guys are NOT required by law to register their guns . . . as a law abiding soul I am supposed to even though no law abiding persons gun has EVER been linked to an officer's killing while in their possession. The government wants to register me and refuse to prosecute felons whom violate federal laws repeatedly.
