The freedom-haters keep complaining that the gun lobby refuses to compromise on many issues; some that don't even exist - such as the "gun show loophole". I beg to differ, the wussy gun lobby (read N.R.A. here) has given in more than any other pro - rights organization I can think of. You would have a much stronger fight if it were Firearmsrights.com vs. lesbo rosie'o. She/ it could rant and rave at my computer under false pretenses while it is shutdown and claim victory, or to be mean I could turn the machine on and she/it would run off; because one has more intelligence than the other. Leave those computers on and they might go out and harm 12 kids every day. This is the kind of crap the N.R.A. is giving in to.
 
So much for the fun part, now to the serious issues:
 
1) COMPROMISE OF THE RIGHT TO LIFE;
 
There is no, not one iota of compromise on this issue.
 
Mace, stun-guns and such may work for women whom have never been attacked. If you have a different opinion as a woman, link to http://wagc.com here or on the links page. Truth is, mace, pepperspray and such will get your attacker more pissed-off, to be succinct. If an attacker targets you, he has that stolen pistol for a reason- still think a kick to the balls and 911 will help now?
 
2) COMPROMISE OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT;
 
There is no such thing. "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state; the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
 
No this does not mean the National Guard!!! The guard didn't exist until the early 20th century. To put simply, the right of the press, religion, to peaceably assemble and to be secure in ones own home are among some of the INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS included in the Bill Of Rights. Our forefathers fired "The Shot Heard 'Round the World" over gun control. The battle at Lexington and at Concord were because King George ordered the Colonists powder reserves destroyed, no arms left to fight his majesty. Sounds very familiar today...
 
3) GUN CONTROL = PEOPLE CONTROL
 
The freedom-haters like to call them common sense.

4) TRIGGER LOCKS;
 
Good sound bytes for the media and freedom- haters. Picture this- 3 a.m., glass breaks in your child's room. Instead of investigating your worst nightmare, triggerlocks prevent you from ready access. Now you and your child are victim to a convicted criminal who was not regulated by triggerlocks. By the way, the rest of your family may follow- can't leave any witnesses. Paris Glenndenning, the Gov. of Maryland couldn't dis-engage a simple triggerlock in broad daylight during a press conference after several minutes. Maybe the bad guy will wait until you're ready. A triggerlock renders a defensive weapon useless.
 
5) REGISTRATION;
 
My old tag line or signature used to be "registration leads to confiscation". That was only a couple of years ago, what has happened since then?
 
*) Australia has not only confiscated weapons but has since passed laws that give the army permission to shoot to kill a disarmed populace to contain any civil dis-obedience.
 
*) Home invasions in the state of Victoria are up 300%.
 
*) In the U.S.- Deer rifles and bird shotguns are BANNED in CA. and N.Y., coming to you soon. This goes much farther than space here will allow, but the info is easily found on the links page. Jack-booted thugs are raiding homes in the U.S., so it comes to this;
 
Let the government protect your kids as they did at WACO, or trust your own judgement.
